President Tinubu’s son, Seyi, bought three houses for cash in North London

Seyi Tinubu, the 38 year old son of President Bola Tinubu, has been revealed to have bought three properties for £700,000 each in Edgware in North London.

The houses are in Edgwarebury Manor and consist of now sold out new builds.  One of the estate agents that sold properties in the gated estate wrote: “This private gated family housing development of 2, 3 & 4 bedroom houses and 1 & 2 bedroom apartments offers a wonderful village-like feel next to the Green Belt, while at the same time being close enough to London to have you there in less than thirty minutes.”

Naijiant.com was informed by a source involved in the sale of the properties that Tinubu the Younger bought them for cash using a front, and had intended to buy five.  The developer then became spooked by the British government’s efforts to curtail money laundering by “politically exposed persons”. So the developer refused to allow the sale of two properties to go ahead, freeing them up for other buyers.

The source said the properties were placed at £500,000 each for “ordinary buyers” and the “mark up” to £700,000 was because of who the buyer was and the fact that money was no object for him.

Seyi Tinubu has been described as a “serial entrepreneur” but it’s not quite clear what his source of income is without the obvious connection to the public purse via his father.  His Twitter page claims he is the founder of Noella Foundation and CEO of Loatsad Promomedia. The Twitter feeds for both organisations were last updated in September 2019.
